The London Branch of the Association for Continence Professionals is open to all healthcare and allied professionals involved in bladder and bowel care in London and the South East.
Our members work across multiple professions within bladder and bowel care, such as AHP’s, ward nurses, specialists, as well as students. This offers exceptional inter-branch networking opportunities to exchange best practices and expertise. The London Branch works closely with our corporate members to help provide ongoing educational resources, which includes supporting our annual conference.

2026 Meetings
ACP London are please to be hosting our upcoming face-to-face event on Tuesday 8 September at Goldsmiths University. The agenda can be found here and registration link here.
We are proud to once again be presenting the Hilary Oliver Achievement Award for recognition of outstanding service contribution. We are also inviting attendees to design a poster on a continence topic of their choice and present this on the day. For further details, please contact Kevin at kevin@qufora.com.
Non-members are also welcome to attend with purchase of a ticket.

The London branch held a webinar on Thursday 18th June on ‘The impact of incontinence on female sexual function” which was hosted by ACP Chair, Angie Rantell,

Achievements & Awards
The Hilary Oliver Award is presented each year at conference. In honour of Hilary who sadly passed away in February 2010. Her husband, Mr Oliver, is still committed to this awards presentation.
Hilary Oliver was a decorated professional, having been Chair of the RCN Continence Forum, and Nurse of the Year 1997. Hilary was a dedicated Continence Advisor in London, where she brought her clinical expertise, compassion and warm personality to the benefit of this patient group and other professionals.
The Hilary Oliver Award and Poster Competition continue to be an essential part of the London ACP conference.
Other Achievements
Our Chair, Carlene, has recently become a Professional Nurse Advocate (PNA) from NHS England – Congratulations Carlene!
